For the 2008 WOC, all National Federations that arrange National Championship and World Othello Championship qualifications can send 3 players + 1 extra female player.

A nation that doesn't have a National Federation, but arranges National Championship and World Othello Championship qualifications, may send 1 player.

If you're interested in participating in the 2008 WOC, and you live in one of the named countries below, please contact your federation for information on how to qualify. (You find how to contact your federation at World Othello Federation homepage).

In order for any player to be properly registered to participate at the 2008 WOC, the respective National Federation Chairman must send the 2008 WOC T.D. an email with the information on that player. This must be done before September 1st.

If you are interested in participating in the 2008 WOC, and you live in one of the countries that does not have an National Federation, but arranges National Championships, please contact the tournament director and we can help you contact the appropriate person. This also must be done before September 1st.

If you are interested in participating in the 2008 WOC and live in a country which does not have WOC qualifications or federations, please contact the tournament director before September 1st.

Important:
A player is not registered for the WOC 2008 until they're listed on the WOC 2008 player list. Any player not on the list is not qualified for the WOC. It's important that the National Federation's chairman or person responsible quickly contact the Tournament Director after the national qualifications are done!
